Hi! My name is Kristina Lankford Salvador, and I'm a professional voice-over artist and dialect coach. My work with my celebrity clients often takes me away from my family in Livingston, Montana for months at a time. I love to read to my son, who is 9 years old, doing all the different voices and acting out the stories. We were in the middle of Ivanhoe when I was called out of town for 4 months to work on Fantastic Four II. He suggested I record the story on tape so he could listen while I was gone.

I thought about what he said and Kinder Klassiks was born!! After doing some research, I discovered that very few children's classics are on audio, and NONE are in the format we have come up with. My work in movies has helped me to recreate these stories with all the excitement you would get from a DVD, except there is no picture. Incredible character actors, a fully engaged narrator, tons of state of the art sound effects, original music and songs bring these stories to life and will captivate your child!

Education research has shown that children use their imaginations more when listening to a story rather than watching it. Their vocabulary and problem solving skills are increased and their creative play time is enhanced.

Grimm's Gentlest, Volume I is the first of a three-part collection, which will also include a fully illustrated book, and the beginning of great series for children!!
