Details:
Nancy Metzger, harpsichordist and organist, has performed as a soloist in such disparate cities as Las Vegas, Cape Town, Williamsburg and Pendleton. Widely known as the author of Harpsichord Technique: A Guide to Expressivity, now in its 2nd Edition, she is a former college music professor as well as a long time church musician and recitalist. Nancy pursued her musical studies at Syracuse University, the University of Oregon, and Sacramento State University and holds a Master's Degree in Music History. Her principal harpsichord studies were with Laurette Goldberg in Berkeley, CA. Recently she has performed for the San Diego Harpsichord Society, Radio 4 Hong Kong, The Midwest and Southeast Historical Keyboard Societies, Region IX of the American Guild of Organists, the Crocker Art Museum of Sacramento and Trinity Episcopal Church, Reno.

A reviewer for The American Organist magazine wrote this about her CD "Suites & Treats:" "Her playing of these Baroque pieces is at once eloquent and articulate. It is certainly a level above the dull, mechanical playing of this repertoire too often heard these days."
