The whole story has its roots in early 2002 in a simple vision. The small dream to start a band and play some music. With that in mind Michael Suter (Guitars), Simon Burkhard (Drums), Philipp Thrier (Vocals) and Slave Mihailov (Guitars) got together and tried to realize this dream. First live-experiences were made in 2004 with a bunch of rock- and metal-coversongs, although at this point Slave had already left the band and had been replaced by Oliver Schneider (ex-Cudvain). Bassplayers (Stefan Rellstab 2004-2005, Daniel Hugentobler 2005-2006, Patrick Gass 2006-today) changed several times. In 2005, Minsk Security performed their own songs for the first time, and got a good feedback for their music. In the same year, Minsk Security recorded their demo-album âS.A.F.E. I.N. M.I.N.S.K.â with 9 Songs, which met with good criticism.

Time for Changes (2006)

In 2006, the band began the writing of new songs for a new record. The recordings started in autumn 2006 along with upcoming problems with Philipp, who hadnât brought enough motivation and passion anymore. He left the band, which resulted in more delays in the production of the record.

The fire is returning / REBORNATION (2007 - ...)

In the beginning of 2007 Marc Reichen, an excellent and passionate singer, joined Minsk Security and with him, the bands motivation came back and they reassumed the recordings, which they did independently in their own studio. After one year of recording and over 3 years of production/writing with ups and downs, the record was finally done in October 2007. Through all these circumstances, the coherence of the band was invigorated a lot and grew into a brotherhood. Suitable to this disposition, the new album is called...
