Through all the anger, I realized that I didnât have to get caught up in it. I then decided to make it positive. âSuccess is my best revenge. Creativity is my savior.â Threw myself into music. Sang in the choir, made love to a six-string electric guitar, and found a mentor in DJ Quick. Instead of rapping about G-life, I decided to pull from old favoritesâCurtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin, Frankie Beverlyâto create a smooth, smart, Cali sound that tells the truth, but still lets you enjoy the ride. Over the last decade, I have spent half my waking hours in the studio, producing and collaborating with DJ Quick, 2nd II None, Suga Free, El Debarge, Chico Debarge, James Debarge, AMG, Hi-C, Warren G., Big Steel, Sly Boogy, Cam and Mr. Mike Live (93.5 kday). Also performed live on dozens of regional and nationwide tours, along with 2nd II None, DJ Quick, and Ginuwine. Have written, performed, and produced six studio quality hip-hop singles. This is the start of a full album of hip-hop and other styles of music, featuring established artists.
