Having been writing and making music for twenty years I never imagined that anyone would wish to make an album of my work. Enter Paul Styan from Alvarez, Paul heard me playing an acoustic set in a dingy venue in Scarborough on the North East Coast of England. Afterwards he came and talked to me, gave me his card and told me to send him a demo of my songs, of course I thoroughly expected never to see him again.

Three weeks later a deal was signed to make this album. Many of these songs will explain themselves, others Iâll leave you to apply your own interpretation. They largely
recount the feelings and emotions we all feel as we pass through life, joy, anger, love, hate, jealousy, regret, desire, bliss, happiness, boredom, loneliness, there all here. Please enjoy it.

Music has been my great and only faithful companion, and has been the greatest healing and celebratory tool in my armory. I hope you enjoy it.
