When Eric, Bob and Mike met up in middle-school,they decided they were going to start a band. None of them had any musical background but they were determined to start a band. After a few years of dicking around they started to get something promising together. The boys, for the most part, taught themselves how to play their instruments...in other words...no lessons or books they just feed off each other by ear. In 1993 Nuse was formed in Manville N.J. over the years members have come and gone but the heart of NUSE has always been Eric, Bobby, and Mike. In 1996 Nuse decided they would remain a 3-piece band. Over the years NUSE's style has changed from thrash to death metal to its current metal/hardcore style that they grew to love. Because the NJ Music Scene is f@#ked up they found they had to be able to play Punk, Metal, Thrash, Death Metal and Hardcore shows to show case their talent. Along the way NUSE has been blessed to share the stage with some of today's best Hardcore-Metal bands Bio-Hazard, Cannibal Corpse, Clutch, MOD, Merciful Fate, The Misfits, Murphy's Law, Napalm Death, Overkill, Pro-Pain, Type o Negative, Obituary Testament, Madball, 25taLife and believe it or not the list goes on!!!
