ONILI BIO:

Both french and israeli, onili is a mix of 2 cultures.
sharing her time between her little israeli mountain where she runs her studio and paris where she grew up.


First album FIRST KISS - an independent production with Major's results!

Yonatan Levy, who used to sit on onili's lap during the breaks at school, and became one of the major bass player of his generation in Israel, also member of the band Izabo, Produced and co- arranged the album with Onili .
Recorded by Onili, Mixed by Simon Vinestock (David bowie, Gun, Texas...+ all the israeli major artists), mastering by Chris Athens (Sterling-Sound, N.Y).
THe Album brings something new to the musical sky, a crunchy pop with a kicking sound, catchy melodies, funky guitars and a big big bass!!
Onili's lyrics are stories of her life through her emotions of love, anger, frustration, conclusions and understandings, with humor and passion.

Onili is influenced by rock, funk, Hip hop, Electro-Pop, artists like: Prince, Michael Jackson, Bjork, Rage against the machine, Tool, Busta rhymes, Pj harvey, Henry Rollins, Outkast, Pharell, today very in love with Kitsune, Ed banger, ModeseleKtor, Justice and Ninja tune's electro & hip hop artists artists Onili is Dj-ing this kind funky electro with big bass and sings & raps on top.

The 3 members of The band were chosen carefully, Matthieu Imberty :Guitar, Lior Koren: Bass, Barak Kram: Drums, masters of groove and sound.
Onili did everything to be free to sing on stage without having to take care of any other instrument.

During years 2006-2007 Onili was spotted through myspace and invited to play in festivals such as the Transmusicales de Rennes ( France ), Bam festival ( Barcelona â spain) , support act for Lily Allen for her Paris show at Bataclan ( ⦠2007) , Cellcom Volume festival and more.

⢠Well known for her inspiration abundance, and for her networking abilities, onili writes an average of 1 song a week, collaborating with people from all around the world. (such as: Leif, Soulico, Sabbo, kutiman, NDV( polar pair), Dj Egozy, The secret Project, Violet vision, Dreaming bear (album project), Hamesiach, Golden bug (GOMMA), Silocon square garden, Rove dogs, LA CAUTION...)

Onili's art work is well taken care of by the talented Graphic boy Yonatan levin (brokenfingaz.com).
Onili's Digital bunny is located in myspace and spreading itself through digital medias.
Collaborating a lot with artists and Radios such as KEXP, organisations like Amnesty international ,she also Worked as artistic director of a new venue in Haifa, worked with arabic children, always willing and ready to contribute to peace through music and culture.


January 2008 Games EP is released, on this EP you can find onili's first single GAMES, that you can't help but sing along (ohhohooo....), 3 Dance-floor Remixes by the hottest israeli producers of the moment: Sabbo (soulico crew), KUTIMAN, NDV(polar pair).
