Peter Moore is anaim dhom, I am a first generation Dubliner. My da was from northern Ireland. And suffered for that sin. My ma is Swedish I have done lots of varied jobs but always slopes back to music, I started out in a neighborhood band, I then got the trad Irish bug, played banjo. Picked up old songs from the sessions and fleadh ceoils around the country. Great days indeed, no money changed hands just free gargle, pints and beds. Then life intervened I dealt with that then back to the music. Joined an electric band. Got the heave ho, got up again and formed the international blues band. A six piece band with horns. We got to play with the wonderful BB King, said I was a very cheeky boy. James Brown, did not get to meet him. And my highest high was headlining our own show at Montreal jazz festival. Faoin Speir is my first solo album and I am currently recording an acoustic album with a lot of different and varied musicians. Its a grand journey with friends in tow. Slainte to you all. Peter Moore
