At the age of 14 he purchased his first keyboard and started writing and producing songs. Also around that age, he began taking jazz piano lessons from a local gigging jazz pianist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fusing hip hop, R&B, jazz and life, P.H.I.L. creates an eclectic mosaic of music. Forever a poet, he has always enjoyed the power and beauty of words. Coupling the right words with the right music, P.H.I.L. 7 strives to contribute to the soundtrack of humanity in a positve and uplifting way. Even when talking about the negatives that life has to offer, P.H.I.L. strives to promote and encourage peace, love and understanding amongst all.
