ALL THE DANCE MEDLYS ARE LOVED BY ALL DANCE STUDIOS AND DJ'S THAT HAVE TRIED THIS TRACK.
The Red Parrot Orchestra during the 80's was the Big Band featured at the Red Parrot Disco on West 57th Street, New York. The Orchestra players were mostly Broadway show players. After the Shows closed for the evening they would go to the RPD and play every 20 minutes on the hour starting at midnight. The Band became very popular with customers being there for disco music...With only 20 minutes playing time was the reasoN the medleys were written. Usually 6 songs where played in each 20 minutes . A lot to of music for the bang.....also most players in the Orchestra played in the Big Bands at one time or another and settled in New York as session players and played on Broadway etc.
