BIO:
Eric Hahn grew up in the small steel town of Granite City, IL just east of St. Louis, MO. The blues, jazz and rock music which forever flow up and down the mighty Mississippi were the first and most dramatic influences on Eric. The sounds of musicians such as Neal Young, Jethro Tull, and Frank Zappa, as well as more recent acts such as Incubus, Jack Johnson, and 311 have influenced much of what Eric has to offer. Eric also believes his grandfather, a once prominent Blues musician around the St. Louis area, influenced him a great deal. Over the years Eric has written and performed a variety of sounds, from hard rock to the blues his grandfather played. Eric Hahn's music features a blend of smooth melodies, catchy guitar riffs and a smokey vocal tone which make evident his passion for his craft.
Through his music, Eric gives his views on life. Life which encompasses relationships, lost opportunities, love found and the every day bullmake we deal with as a result. With this album Eric presents his message using edgy acoustic guitar with strong rock like vocals. Tracks such as "Hello" and "Incomprehensible (She's Crazy for You)" relate to love and the pain and joy it can bring. Tracks such as "Subdue" and "City Streets" relate to life in general and how it should never be taken for granted. Eric's music is his way to share all he has had to overcome. For Eric, Life, with its Joy's and Sorrow's, still remains "The Incomprehensible Fable".
