Sonja Grier kicks into '08 with a serious groove and a stark call for environmental reform. Wrapped in the backing funk of Autoclave, she implores us to "check the code before you take a walk...breathe the air, burn your lungs, don't need a cigarette to have this fun...better come up with a quick solution or we're all going down in Reverse Evolution". Sonja Grier first appeared on the Charlotte, NC scene as a Spirit Records session vocalist. Her unique and powerful voice was quickly recognized. Two singles for Spirit followed and did well, but it was her third release "Love Flight 109" that exploded on US & European dancefloors, and found her quickly signed to RCA with a Shep Pettibone remix.

She struck again in 2005 with her Philly-grooved hit "Right Here, Right Now" which packed floors in the UK and US.
