I, like so many before me started singing in the church choir at a very young age. I was born in a small town, called La Porte, Indiana. I joined my first rock band at the age of 16.At 18 I traveled the States with my first professional group called the Spurrlows.As a part of that group, I was able to work with many country artists namely Donna Fargo,Lynn Anderson and Roy Clark. I landed in California and went on to form several groups performing nightclubs all over Southern California and parts of Canada.After a successful club run I decided it was time to start song writing. After many years of shopping tunes while continuing to work, I decided to put the albums out myself.This is my second album. The first was entitled "Through The Fire" and this "Ernestine Take2." I've always been a rocker at heart and I believe these songs will bear that out.Some of the songs have been redone like "Love Bunin" and "Surrender" which I wrote In the early 90's."Heaven" is about my daughter whom I treasure and thoughts of my son come out in the song "Walls. "Life" talks about my feelings about the music business and "You Need Love" tells of some one close to me who lost her way and is struggling to find it again.
