Details:
The very long awaited release from The Toasters (back in 2002). Talked about and worked on for about four years, Enemy Of The System marked a new beginning for The Toasters. Continuing to push on after Moon Ska closed it's doors, The Toasters opted to record and release this album Asian Man Records out of California. To let the fans know the band is still alive and kicking harder than ever. Coming back with an album full of solid straight forward songs and with a raw powerful sound that seems to capture their live energy more than any other release to date. You can tell they enjoyed recording these songs. This album is a great update on an old sound. Six years later, many of these songs are still major players in The Toasters live shows and the style of writing and recording has continued on to be the standard for current Toasters material. This album came after the insanely huge line up of DLTBGYD, taking the band back to it's roots of a solid 5 piece band, for ease of touring and recording and focusing on lyrics and vocals and not so much horn driven solos. A definite need to your ska collection as it marks a new beginning in Toasters musically history!
