o Hello! Glad to meet you, my name's Travis and this is what I'm all about. I grew up in a farming countryside just 30 miles south of Fresno CA, a little town named Dinuba. Pretty much kept to myself, sang in the choir at school, was considered what some call a band nerd; i've always loved music.
My songs, i think are an unassuming throwback to the folk days of the sixties and seventies, with some edgy new sounds tossed in; mellow storytelling ranging from the styles of Counting Crows and Simon & Garfunkel to Bob Dylan and Kings of Convenience. My band, called Your Local Saltwater Merchants, plays an interesting blend between sharp flavor and smooth fluidity. Everything interesting in life has some type of tension to it. Give us a listen, we won't let you drown. it's music to float by. - Travis
