Details:
Multicultural, multifaceted, Caribbean, global songstress, Ms. Triniti advances new musical genre - Reggahop- with her latest upcomong single, "Wi Burnin'."
Los Angeles, CA (January 2008). A powerful, unique vocalist, Ms. Trinitiâs multi-cultural Caribbean/American heritage is resoundingly reflected in her new February 2008 reggahop single, âwoy yoy yoyâ (Wi Burninâ), and the spring release of her groundbreaking album The Naked Truth. Known for her hit single, Bounce Along, which placed #16 on the Billboard Hip Hop/R & B Sales Singles Chart, her exemplary song-writing skills reflect a genre of music that combines Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop and R & B, and capitalizes on her ability to switch from Soulful Songstress to Singjay and Deejay style rapping.
Most recently seen during Sean Paulâs U.S. National Tour, Ms. Triniti continues to gain worldwide recognition as she took Japan by storm during Paulâs overseas tour, where her 3rd album, released in December 2007 sold over 100,000 copies. To date, she has performed at numerous musical celebrations, including Orlando Reggae, Montego Bay Unite the People and Jamaica festivals, and can be seen performing her new single during the January 2008 Soca Remix carnival in Trinidad and the February 2008 Super Bowl. She has also toured with Ja Rule, D12, Kevin Lyttle, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Maxi Priest and Elephant Man, and performs a duet on Baby Chamâs album Ghetto Story.
Triniti plays an integral role in all aspects of her music, from lyrical concepts, arrangement, tracking and production. With a large following in Los Angeles, now her home base, she consistently performs to packed houses at some of the LAâs most desirable venues, such as The Temple Bar, The Viper Room and the Key Club, and captivates audiences during local outdoor concerts at the UCLA and Long Beach Reggae festivals.
Born to a Trinidadian father and an American mother, she was raised between the UK and the Caribbean. She considers herself a blend of Caribbean flavor and incorporates her multi-culturalism into her music, where she states that, âmy music is a âblendâ of Caribbean rhythms and Hip-Hop R & B, just like me.â Naturally athletic, at age 17, she was considered a junior tennis star in Great Britain, where she won the British National U16 Doubles Title and ranked #3 U16 Junior in Singles, earning her a 4-year NCAA Tennis scholarship to San Diego State University (SDSU), where she studied Kinesiology and graduated Valedictorian.
Clearly, Ms. Triniti sets her sights high, as she is currently developing a Dance Hall music exercise DVD, launching a clothing line and co-producing an animated childrenâs script that capitalizes on her unique musical genre.
