I have requests for Sound Effects from Movie Makers. When I collect enough of them I put them into an album, and get them out there for everyone to use and enjoy. Collecting Sounds is a lot of fun. Creating sounds is even more interesting. Its much easier to just collect everyday sounds. They can be just as mysterious as sounds you create yourself. Some sounds can be used for a variety of scenes. The sound of Rain can also serve as the sound of Bacon frying in a pan. When you see a Movie scene that has a train going down a track the sound of the wheel and track clatter is the same whether the the train is 100 years old or made last year. Varying the speed of sounds can help mesh it with many scene applications. That's Hollywood. What is important is that the sound fits the scene and makes the movie more enjoyable. For those of you that have a noisy neighbor that runs their irritating Leaf Blower on Sunday mornings,you will have your own Leaf Blower sound to get even at a moment of your own choosing through your CD sound system...at 100+ decibels.
