BMI Singer-songwriter Will Diehl releases âEnviron-mellowâ CD entitled Makena Sunset - Continues partnership with OXFAM America
January 14, 2008 â BMI affiliated Singer-Songwriter Will Diehl has released his sixth CD of original music, entitled Makena Sunset. Recorded on the island of Maui and on the mainland of the US, the CD is what Diehl calls an âenvironmellowâ release. Last year, Diehl released Rain and Thunder Meditation, another CD with a similar new age sound.
The sound of the surf and beach are the main themes of this relaxing music, and the spirit of Makena Beach run throughout all eight tracks. Diehl recorded the surf over several days at Makena Beach and later, in the studio, wrote and recorded music that he combined with the environmental recordings. The result is a mix of songs that will appeal to anyone who loves the beach, wants to relax, or practices meditation or yoga. Those who want to be reminded of a past visit to Hawaii will also be intrigued by this CD.
