Ashland Court is a hard-hitting rock band with great hooks and energy that demands attention.

Ashland Court was formed at the end of 2004, quickly started writing original material fueled by influences such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Jane's Addiction, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam, to name a few.

In 2005 the band got their feet wet as a unit and started showcasing their talent on Winnipeg club stages. The group immediately created a solid local fan base as well as the respect of their peers and club owners alike. They also caught the attention of producer Scott Enns (who has done work for Dope Stars Inc., Jet Set Satellite, and Fear Factory to name a few). With 2006 rapidly approaching and a new union between Ashland Court and Scott Enns they set out to record a 5 song EP.

The end result was a powerful yet pop sensible creation that got the band excited as well as Winnipeg fans and Media. " The five songs on this EP are the sort of stuff that gets fists pumping â¦"(Uptown Magazine, Winnipeg)

The official CD release party was on May 26, 2006. With local radio support from Freq107, who dubbed the band as Winnipeg's new rock authority, and sponsored by Molson Canadian Rocks. With a near capacity crowd at Winnipeg's The Zoo and well over the expected merchandise sales, they knew that they were on that right track.

The last eighteen months have been a whirlwind of activity, including dozens of shows in Manitoba. Ontario, and Saskatchewan, news paper and radio interviews etc.

In September 06, PIK or partyinkinston.com, made Ashland Courts EP their pick for album of the month.
Recently the band was the featured artist on the Scene (U of M FM)
The band has been featured on Winnipeg's Freq107 (The Buzz), Power 97's The River City Rock Show, Lake head 102.7 Thunder Bay, also added to XXX Radio, as well as several more.

Our Single Hell's Sweet Hands , can be heard on several internet radio stations such as Hard Rock Live .. We are also on rotation on FM stations such as FREQ107 in Winnipeg..

Several stations are now adding our second single from our EP, Beneficial Tragedy

Currently the band is working on new material for their first full length album. The first single is "Funny How It Is" which will be made available for digital purchase shortly.
The single is expected to be serviced to Canadian radio in the next few months with a lead up to the album.

The band is also expanding its road work to include Alberta, British Colombia, and The Northwest Territories in the coming months ... After the release of the new album Ashland Court would like to focus more south of the border ... more to come ..
