Bishop Rogers was very successful in the charter bus business for over 12 years, Bishop has been in radio industry for just over 14 years. He has served as a program director at inspirational 860 am, Wfmo-fairmont n.c. for over 4 years.

In the year of 1967 Bishop Rogers and the Rogers Brothers starts singing for the Lord, as they continue singing for 23 years, after that his brothers decided to quite singing, but Bishop Rogers regroup and started the new golden gates and know they are singing for the lord, after his brothers quite the lord has given him a song honor thy father and mother, and this song has made a hit in 1996 on the southern gospel.

This song has also hit on black gospel #29 in 2002 after he has remixed and upgrade his music. honor thy father and mother has been a blessing to so many listening, God has anonit him for this message to be spread throughout the world. I guarantee that som hearts, some where will be touched and some one will be loved, appreciated, and respected more. Bishop Rogers as a young man 18 years old starts his own record store and bus business and was very sucessful and still is. In 1998 Bishop Rogers has received a prestigrous award and the new golden gates and also given special honor as a pastor and pastoring many churches, also in the Gospel music field and community leaders, that have served in various fields of ministry. Bishop: Bishop received this prestigious award from the national leaders musical/art association in the year of 1998.

In 2003 God has joined in marriage Bishop rogers and Prophetess Celia Rogers singing along with her husband and part of the group, they have travel all over seas to the Bistish virgin Island and performed at Long Look community center and Road town torlola biciff hall at these concerts many heart were bless by his music and was save also. As they travel with the group the new golden gates god has richly bless them all. also again in 2006 travel overseas to saint thomas us virgin Island. Bishop Rogers and his wife Prophetess Celia Rogers/new golden gates still singing and traveling for the lord, and expecting god to open others doors to their music ministry.
