Of course Count Pacie is named like the Count Basie Orchestra to be humorous, but there is nothing humorous about their music except maybe their personalities. Ralph Pace's drumming gives you a sense of precision and accomplishment yet he enables the musicial rhythm to sink into your heart and soul. Michael Gallaher is respected world wide for his command of his guitar, and Woody Lingle is know for his unbelievable musical and melodic bass solos and hypnotizing grooves. This is one special musically diversified group!

We started playing at Pizza Perfect outside on their patio in Nashville, Tennessee some 15 years ago. One night on another gig a musician called me Count Pacie and we laughed and the name stuck! As a group Count Pacie has many different band configurations which originated and still continues with my good friend and tremendous guitar player Richard (Rico) Thomas from LA and Woody Lingle on bass and also sometimes consists of a piano trio.
