Inger Lorre is an artist of huge conviction and contradictions.

Ex leader of the infamous post psych dream rock heros The Nymphs, and tagged by the L.A. press as "the patron saint of fucked over musicians" Inger Lorre is equal parts voo-doo priestess, witch, songwriter, and balladeer.

Always conraversial,and always hugely emotional. Her songs are really the secret stories from the dark recesses of her personal life.

Inger has had the pleasure to work with some of the biggest legends of rock music including Henry Rollins (Black Flag) who calls her "Hugely talented, a GREAT singer and songwriter" in his book "Broken Summers". ,Jeff Buckley, who both sang and played guitar on Ingers 1999 solo effort "TRANCENDENTAL MEDICATION", and also covered Lorre's song "A Yard of Blonde Girls" on his GRAMMY NOMINATED album "My Sweetheart, The Drunk". Jeff was inger's closest friend during her years in New York, and played on all the demos for Trancendental as well. Iggy Pop, the king of Rock and Roll, sang a duet with Inger on her DEBUT GEFFEN album (Supersonic).

Eric Avery from Janes Addiction sums it up quite nicely, by saying,.."Inger Lorre was the anima to Perry's animus, The female version of Perry. She was VERY THEATRICAL, a real show person. they were cut from the same mould.......magician, shaman,..that kind of witch-doctor ability for live performing."

She is a painter, and is currently working on her Memoirs.
