In 2006, John Tracy launched his music career with the CD release âSlow Downâ. Songs from this CD have received recognition in the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards, 2006 Great American Song Contest, 2007 Dallas GMA Academy, 11th Annual Unisong International Song Contest, 2007 UK Songwriting Contest, 2007 West Coast Songwriters Contest, placement the PBS documentary âRoadtrip Nationâ and on two compilation CDs. His second CD, âBreak The Chainâ was released on SoundCafé Records in February 2008, with songs from this CD already garnering a nomination in the 17th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
