Etan Ofrane (pronounced AY-ton OH-fron) is singer song writer based in the small but funky city of New York. His songs are a saucy menage a trois of jazzy acoustic guitar, groovin' melodies and honest lyrics, that quickly get stuck in your head. Growing up in Teaneck, NJ Etan's music career started early and from a young age Etan was on the stage in various professional theater productions. He took piano lessons for several years, but with the inability to focus on any one thing for more the 14 seconds, he quit and eventually took up the guitar which he was able to learn on his own damn watch. It wasn't until college at Rutgers University when Etan began writing his own music and creating his own style. At Rutgers he also sang with the a cappella group the Orphan Sporks and began performing his original music around campus, including winning first place in a campus performance competition. Since graduating and moving to New York Etan has been performing in venues around the city, and released his debut Album "Waiting for the Flood".
