Even Steven's seventh album "Empty Hands" is the culmination of two years of hard work. I wanted this album to be the pinnacle of my music career, I already have the most incredible mucic story ever told and now with this album, I have the music to back it!!! The album smacks of the BIG 80's, and has the feel of a Steve Winwood or Phil Collins album. The album runs the gammut of emotions, it touches upon the good times, the not so good and the bad times, but primarily it deals with the emotions associated with loving someone so much that you would do anything for them, and yet no matter what you do, or how hard you try the other person just doesn't love you or have the same feelings towards you. Steven plays piano, organ, synthesizers, acoustic/electric guitars, bass, drums, lead and background vocals. This is truly a solo artist album, no one assisted me with anything!!!! This album is so original, its upbeat, its melancholy, its got a vibe thats dreamy and there really isn't anything else like it, however fans of Coldplay, Steve Winwood, Peter Gabriel, Tears For Fears, and Phil Collins will enjoy it. As always none of the songs contain profanity or graphic language.
