The Kings of Harmony group was established in 1992 by Fred E. Baum. The original members of the group along with Fred E. Baum were Jessie Austin, Laurenso Browington, Walter Mac, and Johnny Williams. Later Michael Akins would later join the group and they would make there first project called The New Day. During this time Lourenso Browington would pass to go and be with the lord and later fellow band member Jessie Austin would also pass. A few band members would later be added containing Willie Gilbert who was already in training and later lead guitarist Joseph E. Glover. Around this time their second project had been in the making for some time but would not be released until after a few more band members had been added including Toney Lathen and Andrew Paden, and then there second project "He rescued me" was fully recorded as of the year 2000. Ron Paden who would later become a full pledged member of the band would help out at local programs as a drummer and backup singer. Adolf Paden who was already a part of the group the Mellow Aires would also help out at local programs as a music coordinator and bass player. The kings of harmony have performed in the James Cleveland workshop at the Pennsylvania conventional center, also the Barber Magluckland workshop. Performances along with Lee Williams, Doc McKenzie, the Highway Qcs, Spencer Taylor, Keith âWonder boyâ Johnson and the Blind Boys of Mississippi the Swanie quintet, the Jackson Sisters, The holy Gospel Singers, and the Dixie Humming Birds.
