MISS WORLD

JIMMY TAYLOR â GUITARS / VOCALS
PETER NO-ONE â BASS / VOCALS
MARTIN CHAMBERS â DRUMS / VOCALS
JONATHAN PERKINS â VOCALS / KEYBOARDS

'Miss World' was immaculately conceived by Perkins, Chris Thomas and
Dave Stewart during 1990-91.

Miss World appropriated Martin Chambers from the Pretenders/Spiritual Cowboys, Jimmy Taylor from the Starlings and Peter Noone from Roger Taylorâs band. Geoff Hammer (a friend of the band) played keyboards live and was appropriated from Heaven.

She gigged continually in the UK, Europe and America, accompanied by many other âMiss Worlds & darlingsâ signposting information, ethos and Glamour from the stage.

Chris Thomas produced 90 of the original Anxious LP album in a couple of weeks at Dave Stewartâs studio in the South of France.
(Chris was only asked to do a few demos, and he gave us an album)

Working with Chris was an illuminating, magical and unforgettable experience, informing all Miss Worldâsâ future work.

Nick Addison engineered it and Olle Romo programmed.
Norelle Stephens cooked.
Chris bought the Ricard and Rose, Miss World provided the Rouge.

Many of these tracks were originally available on the Anxious Records Album 'Miss World', released by East West in 1992.

It is has since been deleted. Miss World left Anxious Records in 1993.
