Fade to Blue is a pop/rock band based out of Columbus, Ohio. Starting in 2001 with friends and fellow musicians, Kasey Kish and Chris Costine united with Dan O'Connor to begin writing songs. In early 2002, the band looked to broaden its musical horizons. Fade to Blue combined its musical talents with two experienced musicians, Christy Kish and Kevin Miller. With the compilation of these five individuals and their diverse musical backgrounds, Fade to Blue's sound has evolved to what it is today.
The music is structured around tight crisp chord progressions and awesome musical hooks and melodies. A full set of Fade to Blue songs boasts at least one song lyrically written by each member of the band. Live, Fade to Blue shows a great ability to energetically interact with the crowd. Their performances also come equipped with a wide variety of cover songs, which displays the bands incredible versatility.
With the release of a three song demo in early 2003, the band has experienced a growing success. Fade to Blue will release their first full length CD titled: Sentenced to Life (due in summer of 2004). The eleven track disc accents the bands ability to compose upbeat rock tunes with relevant, meaningful lyrics. The band continues to consistently play numerous shows while attracting an ever expanding fan base.
