These two sisters go by A J Spence, young and mighty they stand ready to rock the house, coming full force with music as a passage to release them from drugs, violence, and sex which clutters youthful souls today.

Brought up in a spiritual home, their parents through determination are raising positive young ladies, with integrity and the power to achieve greatness with God as their guide. Living amongst a household of seven these two sisters amazed their father, when their songbird voices filled the room with praise to the Almighty.

April the oldest of the AJ Spence phenomenon brings talent through her mocha sultry flow. She is miss congeniality with a capital C. In her presence she exudes warmth to everyone, and you know that she is truly a child of God. Jasmine the younger of the two is the cream to Aprilâs mocha always topping off their tunes with a playful flow. April and Jasmine utilized the first letter of their name and their last name to come up with their moniker AJ SPENCE. April and Jasmine are traveling on the road to success and along the way they want to fulfill their promise to God to be a living sacrifice. Their sophomore album featured such songs as Why you keep running, Right Time, Hear my Cry and Remnant People. The message that resounds through all the songs is that with God all things are possible. Through this freshman project many doors have been open.

They have been featured in the faith section of Newsday and called gospel girls. In January 2005 they received a proclamation from Steve Bellone town supervisor. AJ SPENCE has performed on the same stage with Marvin Sapp, Deitrick Haddon, Helen Baylor and Donnie McClurkin.

In 2008 their sophomore and much anticipated album Powered by Abba will be released featuring such songs as God is able, Powered by Abba, this album continue to offer the versatile styles seen in the Fullness of Testimony. AJ SPENCE continues through music to reach out to a dying generation caught in a vicious cycle of sex, drugs, violence and gangs. Their message is still resounding loud and clear that God is able.
