FLOREZ hails from Nashville, TN and consists of Alex Florez (lead vocal, guitar) and Erik Huffman (bass, vocal). Having met in 1999 as undergraduates at Furman University, they are a family. They are ever-developing, and perpetually pushing both themselves and their music. They bring a fresh voice to music and create songs that connect to the heart of people by confronting real life and real questions. However, their fun nature suggests that they donât believe in taking life or themselves too seriously.

With an impressive number of songs in its catalog, FLOREZ took a serious look at its future. Stripping down to their fundamentals, Alex and Erik narrowed that overwhelming list of tunes to a handful of strong pop rock songs that show their true musical hues. Alexâs unique style of guitar playing paired with the duoâs desire to ramp up the entertainment factor at their shows directed them to finding a strong harmonious niche. What the future holds is up to fate and fans, but FLOREZ aspirations are lofty.
