HORACE HEIDTâS famous MUSICAL KNIGHTS, now under the direction of HORACE HEIDT, JR. continue to delight audiences with the big band sound. Considered one of the most popular bands in the United States, the MUSICAL KNIGHTS have among their alumni such all-star musicians and singers as Alvino Rey, the King Sisters, Frankie Carle, Jess Stacy, Mel Henke, Art Carney, Glenn Miller, Ernie Passoja, Gordon MacRae, Mary Martin, Johnny Carson, Pete Fountain, Abe Aaron, Red Nichols, Bobby Hackett, Al Hirt, Pete Candoli, Shorty Sherock, Warren Covington, Dick Contino, Ken Berry, Nino Tempo, Ronnie Kemper, Dean Jones and many others.

HORACE HEIDT, JR. who conducts the MUSICAL KNIGHTS, began his performing career at age three. He is an accomplished vocalist and instrumentalist as well as conductor. Horace Jr. had his own successful musical show which appeared in many of the top show rooms across the country. He was also the conductor of the LOS ANGELES RAIDERS BAND during the teamâs stay in Los Angeles.

The MUSICAL KNIGHTS have created an album that showcases different styles of music as well as some of the finest musicians in the country such as Henry Cuesta, Jack Sperling, Walt Johnson, Mike Price, David Stone, Greg Degler, Paul Cacia, John Rinaldo, Johnny Madrid, Mike Daigeau, and Milcho Leviev to name a few. As a special coloring we have also asked Award Winning Country and Western fiddle player, Doug Atwell, to perform with our energetic Big Band. Most of the arrangements were done by Lonnie Norman and Horace Heidt, Jr.
