Lamar Harris incorporates a variety of genres as he gives his audience "gritty-soulful-talking horn," experience that journeys them into jazz, hip-hop, R&B, Soul, and Funk. This experience is all highlighted in his debut album, "Your All," as well as his sophomore CD, "Groove Therapy." His third release which is a fusion of Jazz/Soul and Electronica, âThe Here and After,â is to due out in upcoming months.

Lamar is featuring The Georgia Mae, which, among its band members, includes students from the Crossroads College Prep Jazz Orchestra. The Jazz Orchestra has won numerous awards and have appeared at the 2007 Iowa Jazz Festival opening for Don Byron. www.crossroads-school.org
