Details:
Kentucky native Alan Bohanon a retired Math teacher meets New England Handyman/Guitar Teacher George Wilson in the City Park with his Wife and Daughters. While watching the girls play; George has his Guitar in hand and is playing some Pop Rock Tune from the seventies by YES or The Moody Blues and Alan who is also with his family spies the Guitar and comes over and says: "Hey! You're pretty good; you wanna get together and play sometime?"
The rest is History. The Melodics were formed that day!
Two guys who love music and like to play when ever they're not too busy taking care of their families. Every guy needs to get away from the chores and the headaches for awhile and dream about making it big someday!
We really thought we had made it big when we played at The Campbell House in Lexington, KY. Two times to be exact.
Both times were fun but we wanted something more. We needed to write songs and get them recorded so that everyone could enjoy our music at home. So here it is: The Melodics first Album: "Melodic Beginnings". Alan and I thank you for concidering us when you purchased our CD. We love you and sincerely hope you enjoy our little CD. Although the recordings were made in a home studio; we believe you'll find them to be quite good. No we don't have any major producer or a long history of recording credits to our names; but we have our EARS! If it sounds good to us...we think it will sound good to you! That makes sense, doesn't it? Again, The Melodics wish to thank all our friends for encouraging us and telling us not to quit when we were down.
God Bless Everyone and write us or call us and let us know if you enjoyed our CD and give us encouragement. We would love to hear from you!
People who are interested in Air Supply Bread Seals & Crofts should consider this download.
