Singer/songwriter/musician/producer Jinzing, born Ja'Nea Taylor - April 30th, 1980, is the creative force behind far fr0m n0rmal. Jinzing originated in Houston, TX but was raised in and around the Chicagoland area. She began playing guitar at age 13, self-taught though heavily influenced by her grandfather, a rockin' musician in his own right - Max Clevenger of Southern Cross.

At age 20, Jinzing longed to return to her Texas roots and headed down to Austin, TX - the undeniable creative center of the universe. In Austin, Jinzing continued to develop her songwriting skills, and began to hone her production and mixing skills.

As the new environment nurtured Jinzing's creative energies, this fresh, new sound was born. Described as a fusion of electronic/danceable beats and heavy guitar rhythms, laid behind melodic vocals, the sound comes to form the unique genre of tech-rock.

Influences run the gamut but include KMFDM, Smashing Pumpkins, The Faint, Tool, Crystal Method, Daft Punk, and the list goes on... Expect to hear a melding of rock, punk, trance, dance, industrial and more.
