Fatcat was a collection of Northern Californian studio musicians and some friends that got together to record the CD, Fatcat. The CD was recorded in 1997 in Sacramento, CA and has been re-released in 2002. Thank you for supporting all the local musicians in your area.

About Eric Lazar:
Eric lazar is a versatile Northern California singer/songwriter/guitarist that has written over 200 original songs in the last 10 years. He graduated from the "Guitar Institute of Technology" (G.I.T.) in 1994. Since then, Eric has played in a number of blues/rock bands in Northern California including the Mere Mortals, the New Natives, Fatcat and Oakbottom in Redding, CA. He is currently in LIGHTNING HAND, a band from Sacramento, CA, which has released two albums in 2004.
His style is best described as a modern interpretation of the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, The Band, traditional Blues, and traditional Country. He claims his true talent is songwriting despite his musicianship and his ability to be one of the most diverse musicians around.
