Get caught up by the excitement on "Fat Tuesday" debut-CD

The trio "Fat Tuesday" presents intense rhythm'n'blues wrapped in the New Orleans sound on their new CD "Let them talk". Energy, excitement from playing music and the "good tune" are basic elements in the music.
The listener will be taken on a journey through a landscape of funk, blues, pop and not least Rhythm'n'blues - during the journey you risk getting caught up by the excitement.

A CD containing a mix of originals and covers in new versions is the outcome of a series of live concerts. "Fat Tuesday" is Knud Mortensen on piano and vocal, Dan Rasmussen on bass and Esben Duus on drums. "Let them Talk" also contains a number of guest appearances to add spice to the gumbo.

Knud Mortensen, who is bandleader of the trio, has resided in Copenhagen since 1999. During the past 6 years he has been a fixture on the Copenhagen musicscene.
One day Knud stumbled over the New Orleans sound - the contagious excitement could not be resisted. He was bound to form a band: In 2003 he started the trio "Fat Tuesday" and began touring instantly with the band.
