Written during the height of the War On Terrorism and recorded during our troop's decent on Baghdad, 'The Life I Know' is a passionate, loud, in your face, melodic rock anthem. The turgid blend of Tool, Incubus, Disturbed, Trapt, Chavelle, and Blink 182 rings loud to create what Blackburn refers to with a smile as "the voices in my head".
