I'm an artist (Pop art mixed with Abstract Expressionism), writer (novelist/poet/experimental), composer; using guitars, bass, sounds recorded here in England, sampled drums & anything I can lay my hands on.

I teach art at to 11 to 18 yr olds, and use Calactus as my alter ego.

Kurchatovium is an obscure element from the periodic table I found in the dictionary one day, hence the periodic number= 104- don't let that put you off!!

104 was a poem I wrote at about the time of 9/11 and reflects- in part- my reflection on that disaster. It covers a variety of topics inspired by the break up of a relationship at the time, but in turn, offers hope. There are many other elements in the piece but that'd spoil it if I told you every influence!!
