Grip wrenchâs life story began in the parish of St. James Jamaica where he attended Granville basic school from where he went to Harrison primary. His scholastic activities terminated at catadupa all age . even though singing was the only thing he wanted do for life,he realized that he had to get some form of livelihood until his recording ambitions blossomed. He became a radio technican. Screwdriver, the man who shot to the top of the charts in the late 80âs with a single called âSharon yu pregnantâ-was the man grip wrench used to work together with. One day while they where together, a young woman looked at him and said âhow you so quiet, if him a screwdriver, you must be Gripwrench.The strongest influence that began his career came from pinchers and pliersâ two prominent Jamaican singers with tool names.
