Lanice Margo Drake was born in raised in Missoula Montana and now resides in Alaska. Music has always been her greatest passion, with a guitar by her side as a way to always be able to express herself through music. Most of her time growing up was spent listening to Motown, Elvis Presley and vocalists such as Barbara Streisand and following a wide range of pop, folk, rock and contemporary artists through out her life. She now strives to define herself through her own written music but loves traditional music and finds many genres fun to be involved in. Her first album is a spiritual purge with a message of forgiveness, love and finding value in the Lord. Although the album is eclectic there is an emphasis of love and the pursuit of happiness. She is glad to have this small gift to offer the world but canât wait to get into the nitty gritty of writing hits for the world. She feels there is a lot to be said, but more to be felt through a greater study of composition in music and canât wait to get involved with many different sounds and other musicians.
