Jason spent two years writing the tunes. Started jamming with fellow guitarist Dave, a co-worker on a supercomputer project they built for the University of Texas. Jason called Craig, who said, "man I'm not playing in bands anymore; musicians suck and they smell bad" to which Jason said, "just try one rehearsal" after which Craig said, "Damn, this $& rocks, I'm in." Craig then brought in Dayton, Ohio phenoms Phatts McNatt (Jordan and Scott) on bass and drums and the band has been hitting ever since.

Major Major worked with renowned rock producer Lars Goransson on this debut record. Goransson who's worked with Jason on previous bands (The Family, Dope Syndicate) pushed the band in the studio and caught a brilliant set of tunes in three days of tracking. The finished result has been compared to The Killers, David Bowie, Talking Heads among others.
