Mark Alaniz ,songwriter ,performer has performed locally in Eugene Oregon for 20 yrs off and on solo and with his band Nervous Rex.His new cd -Lighten Up is an eclectic mix of rock and blues and folk. It features vocal & instrumental tunes . Dobro slide guitar,12 string guitar&electric guitars are all present in this cd showcasing his versatility. He considers his style somewhat unclassifiable. Although not prevelant in his lyrics,he considers himself a bit of a comedian. He once slammed Don Rickles when he worked at Harrahs Tahoe in the 80's on his way to a show in the South Shore Room.
People who are interested in Jorma Kaukonen Bob Schneider Chris Whitley should consider this download.
