Mike's latest release Mixed Nuts in 2008 is a collection of songs recorded over the last few years. Some songs were recorded on garageband in the living room, and some with a full band in the studio, some mellow acoustic tunes and some rocking electric jams hence the name of the album--Mixed Nuts

Before finding his home base in Nantucket, MA. in 1999, Woodard lived in Allston, MA and gigged the local scene for a few years in the band Bake Mcbride..... Wanting to stick with his acoustic roots and looking for new inspiration and a new perspective, Mike moved from Boston in the spring of 1999 to spend the summer street performing on the cobblestone streets of Nantucket, MA. On the street Mike saw that his songs were instantly connecting with different types of listeners of all ages who started buying his 1997 self released cd titled Workin' It . Following that summer of street performing Mike released his second cd Straight Up a 15 song solo acoustic disc a mix of bluesy love songs about releasing yourself from the graspes of the city. After another summer of street performing in 2001 mike recorded and co-produced his third release Street Sounds a 10 song cd of songs recognizing our generations laziness over solid beats. "Jump outside your window into a brand new day, you can sleep when you are dead instead of wasting away"(Get Up, Street Sounds). â¨Currently Mike is plays at the Starlight theatre in Nantucket, MA in the spring/summers and at Copper Mountain, Colorado in the winter... â¨
