Minneota native releases original Christian CD.
Nona Fay, originally from Minneota, Mn., now living in the rural Canby, Mn. area, has completed her new Christian CD entitled, âFirst Things First.â
Nona Fay has been singing her entire life, starting at home with her family and continuing in her church and school. She sang with all of their choral groups over the years and began writing her own music at a young age.
Her music ministry has taken her through karaoke engagements and many community events. She also sang with two popular local bands. She sang with Granite Falls based, âFour Wheel Drive,â for three years and Minneota based âRoxbury Driveâ for eight years. Roxbury Drive released two albums while Nona Fay was with the group. Both of those projects were produced by famed Nashville Songwriter, Dennis Morgan.
This talented young musician has written many songs that are sure to create attention in the Christian Music Industry. Her songs are fresh, alive, and inspiring, focusing on a spiritual power that is larger than all of us. This is Nona Fayâs first CD comprised of all original works. Included in it you will hear professional players, her daughter Kassandra and friends from the Praise Band at Hope Lutheran Church, where she worships and sings with the Jubilation Choir.
Her plans include touring with her newly formed Christian band âDivine Destinyâ to promote this project locally as well as nationally. She brings you this CD with a mixture of joy and humility for the gift that she attributes to the Lord.
