A native of Southern California, Rich grew up in the San Bernardino Mountains, immersing himself from an early age in music genres ranging from early Americana to modern pop. In late 2001, he relocated to North Carolina, where he fell under the spell of the Carter Family and old-time Appalachian mountain music. It was then Rich began to shape a lifelong dream of sharing his own music, a project thatâs finally became his Harvest Jubilee.

Richâs country, folk, gospel, bluegrass and rockabilly songs are vividly woven tales spun with colorful characters from personal memories. They span a lifetime of love, heartbreak, and soul-searching dreams. His celebration of the backwoods and rural working class way of life is unmistakable in lovingly crafted lyrics that yearn for a better world, and offer hope for the future.
