This is a memorial album which features some pretty hot symphonic rock compositions. It also features some sweet and simple, if highly original, acoustic country songs.

The album was compiled over twenty years and many of the people who played and contributed to these recordings are no longer here in the flesh, but to me their spirit's still ring out and dance on some of these tracks. These dear departed friends include:

Look closely at the photo on the cover of the CD. It's a bit like an old painting by Rubens, except for the clothes and the instuments. This is not suprising. That particular gig happened in a bar in Ruben's old home town of Antwerp, Belgium, in 2007. Three hundred years earlier and you could have expected Paul Rubens himself to be sitting in the audience. That particular night, we were playing to remember an old pal, who was also a painter. Most of the people at 'Frank's Farewell' were artists of some sort.
