Randal Prater has songwriting influences spanning the 60s through the modern day that include John Lennon, Marc Bolan, Patti Smith, Steve Kilbey, PJ Harvey, and Rob Dickinson, among others. Randal wrote and recorded three albums with Creeping Myrtle and one with The Pagan States before releasing his first solo album in 2008 called "Falling To Pisces."

Note from Randal:

This is my debut solo album. I played all the parts myself. Iâm quite proud of this recording and hope you will enjoy it. This was my zodiac project. Twelve tracks, each representing an astrological sign, starting with Aries and âfallingâ to Pisces. But, while most people focus on the sun sign (Iâm a Scorpio), I wanted to write about the moon sign (Iâm a Pisces) because that is our hidden or âsecretâ side.
