Deep in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia lies a cute little city named Harrisonburg. within the walls of this city there are five folks who love to play String Instruments. they got together and formed the band you hear today,the RED RIVER ROLLERCOASTER. After many different line-ups the group is who and what it is today by luck love and chance.Guitar,fiddle, upright bass, banjitar,and mandolins were the weapons of choice for the album. Life today, the mostly original cd here was recorded in a weekend at the Mandolin players(Dave's)house. the tracks are mostly live and we did little overdubbing. Lots of songs about love.This is our Third CD and we all think its our best. (ha, we love ourselves)we did have the gumption to put an old time track on there "Old Joe Clark" just so we'd have something on there people might recognize. We didn't spell Tom Waits wrong, this is a play on words. other than that. if you've read this much you might as well check out the cd. thanks
