He has an undergraduate degree in Music, a 4 year graduate degree in Theology and a 5 year graduate program in Psychology.
His most active time period in music was from 1960 - 1975. A career change to Clinical Psychology was made in 1975. Following retirement in 1995 he returned to his first love, Music.
He regards his music as impressionistic and mood setting. His Southern heritage is manifested in his impressionistic settings of "Southern Spirituals" with which he grew up as a child. The interpretations are quite different from those we usually hear.
