And now, with Morgan Finlay's debut EP release, 'Uppercut' receiving accolades from around the globe, the record has been widely accepted at campus radio around Ontario, and more recently, was picked up by CBC Radio, which has been broadcasting 'Uppercut's songs across Canada. Co-produced by Matt Dematteo (Danko Jones, Big Wreck), the six original rock/funk songs on 'Uppercut' amply demonstrate Morgan's honest, introspective song-writing and unique vocal abilities. Past performances include the Bell Freedom Festival (opening for Tom Cochrane), a host of campus dates (including the Universities of Toronto, Waterloo, Windsor, Queen's University, Humber College), shows in Toronto clubs (the Rivoli, the Cameron House, C'est What), and for charity events.

Originally from North Vancouver and now based in Toronto (after a creative period in Montreal), Morgan Finlay is a songwriter who has been performing since the age of five, and writes all his own songs.
